In 2003 Johan and a business partner bought an outside sales license from TravelOnly to become Outside Sales Representatives operating their own home-based travel business under the umbrella of TravelOnly as host agency. They had the firm belief that nothing beats personalized service, experience, and attention to detail. While many Internet sites promise special deals, travelers are often unaware of restrictions, exceptions, and the fine print. Making the right choices based on price alone is not always the best course of action. We hear too many stories of travelers regretting that they didn't use a certified travel agent.
Johan is a Certified Travel Counsellor (CTC) in Canada, a Certified South African Fundi (expert) with certifications from South African Tourism, the Canadian Institute of Travel Counsellors and the Travel Agent University in the U.S.A. Johan is a certified specialist with Avalon River Cruises, AmaWaterways, Uniworld River Cruises, Princess Cruise Lines and Fairmont Hotels. His wife, Magda, joined his travel business as affiliate in 2006. Together they form a formidable team. Magda has achieved the rank of Commodore with both Princess Cruise Lines and Cunard Cruise Lines. They have accompanied a number of small groups on various cruises over the last 10 years.
